Illig HSP 60 blister heat sealing press

This is a thermal sealer used to seal plastic blisters to cardboard covered with a dedicated varnish. It is a one-section machine with a large table. The blisters with products placed inside are fed into the sealing unit by operator and the remaining actions are performed by the machine according to input parameters.

Illig HSP 35 blister heat sealing press

Machine type HSP 35

This is a thermal sealer used to seal plastic blisters to cardboard covered with a dedicated varnish. It is a carousel machine with four sections: blister and product feeder, cardboard feeder, sealing unit and unloading mechanism. The blisters with products placed inside are fed into the sealing unit by operator and the remaining actions are performed by the machine. Operation efficiency amounts to 500 seals per hour, depending on agility of the staff. Potential efficiency depends on number of blisters sealed during one cycle. The cycle may be started manually or through a time-controlled switch.

Illig SK 74 skin-card execution

Machine type SK 74c

This machine is used to produce packagings for element such as screws, bolts, engine parts, toilet inserts, fragrance dispensers, pens, curtain rods, tools, locks, padlocks and others.

SK 74c machines were constructed particularly for packaging various elements using Skin technology with the use of various cardboard types and corrugated paper. The movement of a stable table, driven by servomotor, is executed on parallel frames, which assures appropriate execution of the packaging process. Also the heaters are powered electrically, which makes them work silently and smoothly.
The machine does not have a compressed air connection and therefore runs cost-efficiently and with short downtime.
There is access to forming tables from three sides due to appropriate size and gauge of legs. Regulation of the legs also allows to adjust the height of the surfaces.
Front and side opening mechanism of the form frames are secured with a grid-cage, which eliminates the risk of touching the heaters or frames. When packaging process is carried out, the cage opens automatically.

Illig SB 100 and 125 skin-blister thermoforming machine

Machine type SB 100-c3

This machine is used to manufacture packagings for elements such as screws, bolts, engine parts, toilet inserts, fragrance dispensers, pens, curtain rods, tools, locks, padlocks and others.

This machine produces Blister and Skin type packagings. It can be also used to form thermoplastic sheets up to 2mm thick. The construction of the machine is modular. Depending on the type, additional modules are used to cut ready elements on rectangle outline (cross guillotine and longitudinal roll knives) or any shape (using a press and a cutter). This machine can operate in an automatic mode.
There are several versions of machine available, depending on the size forming area:

Illig R 45 automatic thermoforming with cutting press

This relatively small machine is a fast-running pressure-forming unit. It can be supplemented with a DSB press dedicated to cut any shape, and a blister sealing line HSA.

DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION

Heating of the foil is executed through two-sheet contact heating.
Electronic regulation unit allows control and maintenance of the temperature of the heating sheets in the range of 50-200. The forming unit is constructed of two mobile tables with a regulated travel of closure, pneumatically driven with a smooth regulation.
The foil is formed when the air is sucked out from between the form and the foil.
The vacuum can be applied both to top or bottom table, which allows to find the most effective placement of the form in the following stage of division.
Both forming tables have a water-cooling system installed, which enables use of simple, non-cooled forms in the machine.
Transmission of the foil is done via travel of the complete heating-forming unit. The travel is executed by a pneumatic travel unit. Initial transmission is also done by a closed forming table and heating sheets. This operation prepares the foil to meet required parameters. While the transmission is executed the foil is preheated and preformed before the next operation.

This is a universal machine used to thermoform sheets and rolled materials. It allows to form most of the plastic materials, such as: HIPS, OPS, ABS, PVC, PE, PP, PMMA, A-PET, PC, etc.
Required production set-ups are achieved through various stages of machine build-up. The basic element is a hand-fed station UA, which can be supplemented with automatic feeder. The feeder again can be upgraded by mounting bottom and/or top heating unit, which enables to shorten cycle time by pre-heating the material. Depending on material thickness , heating time in forming station can be reduced or even eliminated. Additional modular elements make the machine run in fully automatic mode, they boost productivity and make the tool exchanges smooth and easy. Most of the machines can be equipped in pneumatic drives of tables, plug assist and clamping frame. Sliding table on the forming unit facilitates the loading. This option is frequently used in the process of car elements laminating.
